The Director General of the Bureau of Public Service Reforms (BPSR), Dr. Joe Abah has participated in the 2015 Country Policy and Institutional Assessment (CPIA) Consultative Forum. The forum which held on Thursday, December3, 2015 is a tool which the World Bank uses to assess the quality of a Country’s current policy and institutional framework and guides allocation of the World Bank (IDA) lending resources.

More so, the consultative forum provides opportunity for the Bank team to outline its preliminary assessment for 2015 to government teams and enables it to table information that is material to the assessment which may have been overlooked by the Bank team.
The issues discussed at the Forum includes monetary and exchange rate policy, trade restrictiveness and facilitation, debt policy and management, financial sector efficiency, depth and resource mobilization and others.
